A new species for the yard!

We put our birds, Salt and Vinegar, outside on the front porch this morning and a Cooper's hawk arrived and sat on top of the cage! It flew away when it saw us.

I thought it was a Common Digger Bee (Anthophora sp.), but was corrected by ahaw.
