6mm. On wax currant (Ribes cereum) leaf.
I captured this one and put it in a petri dish. After examining it under a microscope, I'm pretty sure it's a third instar Satyr Comma larvae.
(I used "Life Histories of Cascadia Butterflies" by David James and David Nunnallee to ID this larva.)
I may be mistaken on this, however, since Saryr Comma larval hosts are usually nettles and haven't been reported on Ribes, according to BugGuide.
